RAX
Ragnar Axelsson (RAX) is one of Iceland’s most known photo journalists. The connection between man and nature are close to his heart as he has for over 15 years photographed people and nature in the North-Atlantic region, in Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands as well as working all over Scandinavia, in Indonesia and Siberia.
RAX has worked for numerous newspapers and magazines and has been a staff member at Morgunblaðið, Iceland’s largest newspaper, since 1976. His photographs have been published in many prestigious magazines, i.e. Life, National Geographic, Le Figarao, Stern, La Vanguardia and Time. He holds numerous awards for his work.
