Einar Falur Ingólfsson
Every place has its own story worth telling, but in some places it is like history poses for a photograph. In the last decades Einar Falur Ingólfsson has travelled around the world to find these places. He captures the smoking ruins of the World Trade Center in september 2001. He sails the Yangtze River in China just before the colossal Three Gorges Dam is completed. He joins millions of people in capturing the moment when their lives are united with eternal wonders and journeys deep under the earth's surface, following the trail of miners who trade blood for silver. In a unique interplay of narration and photography, a portrait of the world of our times is created. A world without a passport.
